Jack stand location for IS 300
I hope I'm in the right forum, ok before I start I did a search on the topic and nothing showed up, I plan on painting my brake calipers this weekend, I'll be using the brushed type claiper paint so all four wheels will need to be removed at the same time. I looked in my car manual and didn't find where I should install the jackstands, only where to jack up the car. Can someone suggest where I should install the stands?

if you mix the enamel and the catalyst in two or more separate batches instead of dumping it all together at once, you won't have to have all 4 corners in the air.
Anyway, if you can jack the car high enough, you can slide the jack stands under the frame (extend your arm way in there) or a safe spot on the pinch moulding. Just don't let the car rest on plastic undercovers, exhaust parts, hoses, wires, and other weird places.

If it's like my RX and ES, the way to best accomplish this is to use a floor jack to lift the front (from the front-center jack point), then put the jack-stands at the tire-jack points and then do the same with the rear (from the rear-center jack point). 1 1/2 ton floor jacks are getting very cheap (just got a new Northern Tool catalog).
