tip on did 120k get done or not
well im looking at this 98sc300 with 124k miles. its at a chevy dealership because some middleage lady traded it in. the car was originally an FL then an AZ car then now CA. besides looking at the service record if they have it. is there any clear visually checks i can do to see if the service was done or not? because if its not done i can negotiate the price down some more because of this. thanks in advance

First, the condiction of the fluids ... Do they all look fresh?
Next, brakes .. Rotor wear and pad wear? any noises?
A sticker on the Timing belt cover, indicating it's replacement.
A history of maintenance...has the 120K maintenance been documented as performed?
Have the auto checked out as you would any new purchase. This includes suspension, steering, ball joints and exhaust systems.
Check for flood damage under the carpets.
Check the tires and wheels for any damage or unusual wear.
Insure all the lamps test when turning on the ignition...compare to the owners manual. Specifically, the ABS air bag and the check engine lamps.
Lastly, check all the body panels for the Lexus provided blue and white serial number tags. The original panels had them. This includes fenders, doors, front and rear end panels, hood, ect.
