Default Trunk release

I locked my keys in the trunk. I was able to open the doors (while alarm was screaming) but is not able to open the trunk still. What else can I do without getting a locksmith? 1998 GS400

If you can get in the car, then you should be able to remove the back seat. You then may be able to use an elongated coat hanger to hook and retreive your keys or maybe hook the emergency release handle (for those kidnap victims) if so equiped.

I do not know if the GS has it, but my ES has a pass through in the rear seat for that allows access to the trunk.

I think that my mother's ES has a lock on the pass-through door to the trunk.

yeah, there is a lock on the pass through for the ES300...
but if you were lucky enough to leave it unlocked, then it might work
