I need help...HID's won't shut off

Exclamation I need help...HID's won't shut off

Need some help or ideas of where to start...

The Problem


The headlights will not shut off ..key out and the lights are still on ....I have no idea what the problem might be ...Any help is greatly appreciated

I have the VSC and heat buttons unplugged, the fog lights are unplugged ..Airrunner is the only thing that is attached extra tot he battery and when I disconntected, the lights still stayed on

What I have done so far


I checked the light relay and it works

disconnected and connected the battery cables , hell even installed a new battery (I needed ine anyway)

johhny, i would assume it's the relay but since you checked that, did you check the light switch?

Mikal ...that is my next mission ...Do i have to remove the steering wheel in order to test ?


when i looked inthe manual it was 3 things

Light Switch

Light ECU

Wire harness

I have no clue on how to test the Light switch. I guess first try to turn the **** to see if you hear/feel clicks on each setting. Like parking, Light On, Auto

The Light control switch

I saved myself $337 and that was for the part alone

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure ..maybe it was a pinched wire or something came loose

the unplugging and plugging maybe ? either way it works
