I had a screw in mine and I was told to go to a tire shop so you might have to go to a tire shop

If the screw is stuck in the treadwear pattern of the tire, the tire can be patched up and repaired by a tire shop. Otherwise, the tire cannot be repaired and can only be replaced (more cost-prohibitive solution).

Tire shops normally charge about $5 to $10 to pull out the screw and put a worm in it. Lexus could probably do the same thing, but not sure about the cost.

Or go to Pep Boys and buy a $1.99 repair kit and do it yourself.

A screw hole in the thread area is just what these kits are made for.

Bring it to the dealer. I know mine would just change out the tire for free simply because they strive for perfection and satisfaction. They never cease to amaze me as far as customer service goes.

So if someone has a brand new OEM tire that encountered an unrepairable road hazard, you guys will actually give that person a new replacement tire for almost free? That would be pretty incredible service for a tire not purchased from that store.

If you don't take it to the dealership and you don't repair it yourself, I'd second the motion for DISCOUNT TIRE/AMERICA'S TIRE. Can't speak for all shops in the entire chain, but my local shop manager does the best he does to take care of things.
