Front O2 sensor Replacement for 98 GS?
I did a search on this forum and came up empty. Does any have experience in replacing the front O2 sensor (bank 2) for a 98' GS400? Easy job or send it to the shop? What is the best part for the job...Denso, Bosch? Any help on procedures/techniques would be much appreciated Matt (mlledvina@nrginc.com)

Bank 2 on the GS400 is on the passenger side, you will need a special O2 socket or a box wrench size 22 mm, but I recommend O2 socket. It not hard to do if the sensor not seized up in the exhaust manifold. You will have to get to the sensor from underneath.
I stay with Lexus sensor.

O2 sensor
Thanks for the advice. The sensors range widely in price.....$250 for Lexus OEM or $39 for offname universal. Denso makes one with the correct plug for a reasonable price. Does anyone have an option of the Denso brand?

If Denso make one with the correct plug and reasonable price then you can go with Denso. I stay away from cheap aftermarket sensor that you have to cut the wires to make it fit.
