Castrol GTX for dino oil. At my uncle's shop we do some service on some older vehicles, especially muscle cars, and that is all we use to avoid leaking. No one has mentioned any problems using that stuff. I had a buddy with a 93 RX7 that was using the stuff to before he went with 10W60 Liqui Moly synthetic.

I think that it is mostly a taste. I use Valvoline because my dad was in the industry for a long time and that is what he used.
