Default Just dropped transmission oil pan

I just had the oil pan dropped on my GS400. As many have already found out, there is no gasket from the lexus dealership but rather a red silicone. I put the pan back in and no really difference in shifts. have to ask my mechanic whether he flushed or drain and re-fill??

Reason why I done this was there was transmission fluid seeping out. i used Toyota T-IV fluid btw.

In our RX300s, we have gaskets. One thing I have noticed on some vehicles my uncle has worked on and he said the RX300 would be no different was that sometimes the sealant on the transmission block to the actual engine can leak. I have seen him drain the tranny and then reseal the transmission to the block with some stuff that costs roughly $100 USD a tube and no more issues.

I cleaned out my pan and filter this weekend and very little accumulation and no big chunks.
