Default O2 sensor wire melted

On my SC300, one of the O2 sensor connectors came loose and melted against the exhaust manifold. It looks like it shorted the wires out as well and now it will not idle. It dies if I do not give it throttle. All of the fuses look OK.

I am looking to replace the O2 sensor but curious if this sounds like something else could be wrong due to the short?

you'll never find out unless you try it. Fix the 02 sensor issue and see if you still have the idle problem, since you have to fix it anyways.
