Best place for an oil change in SoCal?
I just moved to Beverly Hills a few months ago and I'm in need of an oil change. Specifically, I'm due for my 15K service. I called Jim Falk Lexus and they charge around $220 for the 15K service.
I was just wonder if there's anywhere else I can take my IS350 to for the service? If there are any deals out there that would be great.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you drive a new lexus in Beverly Hills, go to the dealer! (Not to mention you'll keep up all service records and maintain the value of your car)

Beverly Hills isn't full of all extremely wealthy folk. There are normal people like me who live in apartments.

I've never paid more than $20 for an oil change
I'm sure if Morrissey was the type to do it himself, he would not be asking this question in the forum. I live about 10 blocks from that Bev Hills dealer and I agree the prices are ridiculous.
I have had oil changes at nearby Pep Boys, Jiffy Lubes, Quik-E-Lubes, Midas, Goodyear and Firestone dealers- it all depends upon what coupons I find in the sports section of the paper. The forums are full of horror stories about them screwing up oil changes, but I've had good luck with them because I always hang around and watch the whole procedure. (And in any case there are also horror stories of dealers screwing up, as well).
Slightly off-topic, but for those that still change their own oil, the Fram SureDrain valve makes it much easier. I have one myself and there is no turning back:

thanks for the reply. I think I'm just going to stick with Jim Falk in Beverly Hills since I'm due for my 15K service. They charge around $260. It's steep, but I believe they pretty much check everything to make sure the car is in tip top shape. I called Santa Monica Lexus and they charge about $30 less for the 15K service, so I bet the prices vary depending on the dealership.
