Zaino question
Long story, but I haven't polished my car since August.
Prior to that, I had probably at least 20 coats of Zaino on it. Car looked and felt great. This weekend, I finally got to do the full bit again - Z1, Z2, Z6. Car is only out in the sun about once a week. Up to that point, the car still looked fine, and water was beading. After polishing, the car looked great. Only question is, the back trunk doesn't feel as "smooth" as the rest of the car. It feels a little gritty. I even put 2 additional coats of Z2, Z6 on it, but to no avail. Has the paint oxidized that fast? It doesn't look like it, but just feels like it. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Use Claybar?
Rod - Didja run the Z-18 claybar over the trunk lid to pick up any contamanents? The back of the car forms a low pressure area when driving so it tends to pick up more road residue & also, being a horizontal surface ( like the hood & roof ), things collect there. Try a small area with the claybar & see if that smooths things out. Zaino won't come off with a light use of the claybar but if ya have to get serious with the pressure, U'll need to do that area again from stage one ( Z-1/Z-5, well, U know the drill ). Good luck!
