To anyone interested in purchasing a new cabin filter for the Gs\Sc, here is the link: http://www.densoproducts.com
Type in part #...453-1003. I did a search and this was the cheapest site offering the cabin filter.
$33.49
$9.40 shipping (MD)
$42.89
In addition, here is the link on how to install the cabin filter to an Sc: http://web.ace.net.au/soarer/air_con...er_filter.html

1992's don't support cabin air filters without modifications.

Just followed the directions to replace my 95 SC400 Air Cabin Filter and to my surprise there is nothing in there!
I don't even see how 2 filters can fit in there. (BennySC400) did your SC400 have a filter prior?
I am guessing the person who had it before did not put one back in?
To make matters worse I was able to see the fins on the evaporator and it looks dirty. Any advice on how to clean this while still installed?
Anything I can spray in there?
I am assuming the filter is to block the debri from hitting the evaporator and then travel into the cabin?

I have a 95 SC 400 and there is no filter in mine, and i get this old man musk smell in my car, almost like a cigar smell from 20 years ago. When I opened the bay to access the (non existent) filter, a lot of debris came out, so it's passing right to the fan blower.
