Default Brake experts?

I need to replace my stock calipers with a decent aftermarket caliper. I don't need Wilwood since I am not racing, but just something that will last longer than the Lexus OEM parts. They keep seizing. I have a 1994 GS 300. Any suggestions?.......Thanks!

you're not gonna find anything that lasts longer than OEM...

just service your calipers and sliders every time you do brake work... i've seen 4 pot 4runner calipers last 300,000kms kuz they were taken apart and cleaned every time the truck got pads and rotors...

I just regreased the slides on my caliper. OEM will last for a very long time. If your calipers keep on seizing, you'll need to use a different grease. Try asking lexus if you can have some caliper grease for the slider.

Default Aftermarket calipers

Thanks for the info! I do use Silglide, and think it performs well. Any aftermarket caliper suggestions are welcome..........

On a different note; anyone here use EBC green pads on their Lexus? I think they might be the best pads I have ever used on any of my daily driver cars. No dust, great stopping power, no noise, just awesome...

Default EBC green pads?

So you use EBC green pads on your daily driver? How do they compare to the stock Lexus OEM pads? I have been using them for a while. I would love to find something with less dust and no squeaks.

Actually, I used them once down here, and they give off a load of dust. Then I met a few other people using them, but they said that the issue must be altitude as their buddies in other places like Veracruz where it is sea level had no issues.

Using Akebonos now.

No squeaks with the EBC green stuff compound and to put it in perspective; if you install EBC green's on the front of you lexus, the rear wheels will accumulate the same amount of dust if not more in between car washes
