searched several times for this, but nothing seemed to fit...

Climate control LCD on my '94 ES300 goes out intermittently. The clock still shows even when the temp/mode side is blank.

If I bang the console it will come back on. Is this something I can easily fix - like a loose bulb I can reseat or replace - or do I need to take it to someone (and dealer or indy shop?)??
