If u chg water pump, do u chg Timing Belt?

Default If u chg water pump, do u chg Timing Belt?

I understand that if you change timing belt, you might as well also change the water pump. How about the other way? If you change the water pump, do you want to change the timing belt too?

you might as well because you are taking the timming belt off in order to remove your water pump.

Usually depends on the vehicle, but in my RX300 that is a very sound, time-savings and cost-savings idea (if you don't do your own repairs).

on the SC, i would say definitely yes. go ahead and change the timing belt and thermo stat. timing belt is like $40 and the thermo stat is like $12.
