Has anyone replaced the hood supports on their LS400s (I am sure their is a technical name that is escaping me currently).

When I open my hood it begins a slow creep shut.

Looking for input on difficulty of swapping out and a reliable source to grab a couple from.

Hood strut or Lift Support for the Hood may be the term but, I am guessing here.

I would check out the local parts websites and see. You know the names-Kragen, Autozone, NAPA, etc.
