Hi all.
I am having problems with the pads squealing when coming to a stop. My mechanic has replaced them 2 times, when they only have 3000 miles or so. He doesn't charge me for the replacement, but it is a drag. They are made for Toyota, but are aftermarket. Should I suggest Lexus oem ones , or does someone have a better suggestion??
Thanks in advance for your ideas..

you're probably using the cheap semi-metalic brakes.
My dealer told me that they have been getting those complaints on these brakes, they recommend you spend extra $10 on ceramic pads or even $20 on organic

On my first visit for a complete brake job, he replaced the rotors and the pads. I'll have to ask him about the factory shims. Also will ask if he is using the semi-metalic brakes.
I'll take your advice and ask him to use the better ceramic pads. Thanks to you both for your input..

Hey,
I need some advice on changing my spark plugs in my SC 400. Is it hard to change them? I have never done this on my car and I have had it for about 6 years now. Any help with this would be great!
Thanks
