Default Timing Belt change?

Hey guys I jus got my 94 GS300 with 1915XX miles on it. I have the paperwork from the previous owner on when he did his last timing belt change. He did his about 109XXX ago. I am wonering if i should go ahead and do it now or if it is possible to wait a bit longer?

Thanks for the help guys.

you can wait a bit longer, but to be on the safe sided go ahead and do it soon, I wouldn't push it past 200k at most

Definitely get it changed. The money spent on it is definitely worth the piece of mind. You might consider getting a few other things changed as well, such as your idler pulleys since they may be in need of replacement at that mileage.

If I were you, I wouldn't stretch the timing belt longer unless I'm really in the budget constrain situation. I would also get the water pump and thermostat replaced while having the belt done. Just some preventive care.

just to be sure and to avoid other problem in the future it would be best to replaced your toyota timing belt with a new one.. it is also good to check each parts - suspension, electrical and mechanical parts to ensure that all is working fine and in good condition.. good luck
