Hello All,
I just took a lease on a new IS250. I'd like to understand the maintenance obligation and had a few questions. (I did an initial search couldn't find anything.)
1) This is my first Lexus and lease ever. I've owned Acura, Infiniti, Honda, Toyota, and Jaguar before and have taken them to the dealers for maintenance. Can I just take it to Jiffy Lube every 5,000 miles? Do I need to perform the minor, intermediate, and major services or oil changes are enough to sustain the warranty coverage?
2) Do I need to be within a few miles of the target service interval? 100? 500? 1000?
3) What is the likelihood I get a loaner for my oil change vs just a 5 mile radius shuttle drop off vs nothing? This depends on dealership, right?
4) What does the typical oil change, minor, intermediate, and major service cost look like?
Thanks!

I'm currently leasing a 06 GS300 that just past 10k miles. Lexus dealer charged me $190+tax for the 10K service that included oil change, ac filter change, tire rotation and all kinds of checks that's pretty much meaningless. I could probably do the work myself but not sure of the obligation just like the OP said.
