Default Buying an 01 LS430, what should i look out for?

I'm coming from the world of old school rwd Volvo's where, if you're willing to get dirty, you can basically fix anything yourself, which i did. I'm tired of messing about with the daily driver so I've been doing some reading on the ls430's after finding one for sale locally at a very tempting price. I was hoping you guys could let me know what to look for on an 01 LS430 with the ultra premium package at about 120k kms (Canada eh!). So far these look like some pretty worry free cars as long as you keep up with the scheduled maintenance, is this the case? What should have been done already? Any common problems(small or large)?

THANKS!

Welcome to CL
I think at 120km is about 90k miles, just make sure the timing belt and water is done, if not, just ask for some discount.
Make sure the rear sub woofer don't have any creaking sound when you play the music at mid volume.
Center console open and close properly.
Both outside mirror function properly, fold in and out, adjust up-down and left-right.
Rear sunshade not blinding.
The best way is take it to Lexus dealer and pay $100.00 for inspection for peace of mind.

Thanks! We don't have a Lexus dealer in town, closest is an hour or so away, but we do have a large, new Toyota dealer. Any downside to getting service work done there? I talked to the service guy and he said they have a 150k kms service for the timing belt, and spark plugs which would be 30k away. Is there somewhere online i could get a list of the service schedule? I assume there should be something like that in the owners manual that i could check out. I'll get it checked out at the dealership before buying it for sure, but the more i know before hand the better!

Make sure the bumper sensors are working properly/not damaged. Rock hits, corrosion cause problems with false
alarms.

Steering column retraction smooth, not grinding.

Air sunspension dry, no leaking shocks, etc. Expensive fix.
