Default need to replace my fuel line

I was in the process of replacing my fuel filter on my 98 es300 when I kinked my fuel line badly. It is the one that goes to the inlet of the fuel filter, to (I presume) under the car. How long is this line? Hopefully it doesn't go all the way back.

I was looking online to find a replacement, and I didn't see one anywhere. I hope I can find this part easily. Might have to go to the wrecker.

Does this diagram show the tube?

I've been looking over some parts trying to help you out. See if that site doesn't help.

You must have kinked it very badly.. No straightening it out?

I don't think so. That stuff appears to be around the tank. Mine is under the hood. It appears to go under the car, into the engine compartment, and up into the bottom of the fuel filter. Yeah, it's kinked very badly. Thanks for the help

The same thing happened to me when I was changing my fuel filter, I had to cut a section of the fuel line and replace it with a rubber fuel line with hose clamps. It was a major PITA trying to figure this out though.

probably wanna keep an eye on that too... I have seen some disastrous results from hose clamps and non-barbed connections with 40+ psi worth of fuel flowing through there...

Agreed. Gasoline is incredibly flammable - much more so than charcoal lighter fluid or kerosene. I sometimes use gasoline to start piles of garbage on fire and it's scary to watch how violently flammable it is.

Also, the quality of the fuel hose at auto parts stores is so low that I find it tends of leak after only a matter of months when used on low pressure carbureted cars. I wouldn't dream of using auto parts store quality fuel hose on a high pressure fuel injected car.

I put three hose clamps on the non-barbed end to make sure it's nice and snug. I figure the ps pump has rubber and clamps so the fuel line should be able to hold up as well.
