Engine maintenance
I'm planning on having my engine maintenanced and want to do some of it myself. So I have a few questions ('95 SC400)
Are there aftermarket ignition coils available for our cars? If so do they offer any improvement over OEM?
I'm not having any trouble with my 2 front O2 sensors, should I replace them anyhow?
How many lb-ft do we need to install new spark plugs with a torque wrench? Is changing the spark plugs relatively easy on these engines? What gap setting with Denso Iridium IK20 do you reccomend. Are the wires easy to change?
I'll probably have the shop change all the belts, fluids, coolants, clean the injectors, and replace the fuel filter.
I'm getting close to the 90K Service, is there anything that I'm missing?
Thanks,
nick
