Hooking my battery back up issue???
Hey Guys,
Need some help, I bought a new battery for my GS400 which was too small and when trying to put the old battery back my horn keeps going off. Any idea how to stop that??? Still havent put the old battery back on which means I'm with no car right now
Any help would be appreciated,
KeN

Not sure if its the same as I have a 430 but do you know if its the horn for the alarm or the horns up front. The alarm horn is near the middle of the front pass fender.

Once you install your battery, connect the positive terminal but leave the negative terminal off. Turn your ignition to the on position and connect your negative terminal. This will bypass your alarm and allow it to start without the horn going off.
