Default How to replace the a/c filter in a GS400

Just got it (along with my steel brake lines) from Steve @ Carson Toyota.

Can someone tell me how to replace it?

Also, I got some Motul 600; any idea how much fluid it would take to flush the system & install all new steel lines?

Thanks in advance.

If it is the same as the LS and RX, which I think it is, you can access the a/c filter through a panel in the glove box.

I figured it out last night. Great engineering that the flap in the back of the glove-box slides out for access. BTW - I was amazed at how filthy the filter was at 30k miles. Those that have never changed it at the recommended service interval should do so immediately.

The steel brake lines went on with a snap once I figured out the little tricks and require much less pedal effort to get the ABS to kick it.
