Default Oil pan spacer

Can anyone help? What is the spacer between the oil pan and the engine block on 4.3 v8 (SC430)?

I would say its unlikely... the book calls for 12.7 - 13.5 hours worth of labor time... (Motor or Chilton time)

essentially that's approximately how long it would take a skilled technician with all the proper tools and a lift to complete the job...

Now, same vehicle, to remove and install the complete engine is 15.3 hours... that means that the engine doesn't come out completely, and without looking it'd be hard to say for sure, but most vehicles that have low clearances like that for oil pan removal, you would disconnect the driveshaft, disconnect the motor mounts, move anything on top of the engine that would interfere with it moving such as air intake, etc, possibly loosen any hoses and wire assemblies, then use a engine hoist that goes across and sits just inside the fender - use this to lift and support the engine - should give you 6-10" of clearance, and enough to get the oil pan out of there... might ask one of the Lexus techs on here if there is a short cut, or if more might have to happen...

Will the spacers allow additional quarts of oil?

The spacer is already there... it's part of the lower end of the engine...

its not really a spacer, we call it the "upper oil pan"

The spacer you are refering to is called the #1 oil pan. The lower pan is called the #2 oil pan. The upper pan is NOT easy to change, but its certainly possible to do in your driveway if you have a way to support the engine.

THANX RTIS250 I 'm sure I could do the work but I wanted piece of mind to let ASE certified shop do the work plus I get a guarantee with their work.
