I did not find out about this update until about a few days ago so when I posted in the ES330 forums there was not much feedback from the sticky.
This thread is regarding the "If you would like this software update, go to your local Lexus dealer service center and request TSB # TC004-03 (Revised on April 1, 2005) be done. This update is covered under the Lexus Federal Emissions Warranty, which is 8 years or 80K miles (whichever comes first)." I am still undecided on whether or not I would like to perform this update and I wanted to hear more feedback from current ES330 drivers who has updated and any technicians on this forum that have input. I hear all the negative effects like rpm's redlining and such with the update but I have also heard that there were no negative effects. Two totally different things I hear from many people. Either it helps a lot or it makes it worse which is a scary situation. What do you recommend me doing?
