I don't know if it is a must to spend $100 more to buy Beck Arnley one... Any opinions about one from eBay?

 

do you really need an oil pump??

 

I am performing a rebuild so I thought it'd be nice to put new oil pump on it, at least guys from an engine shop have recommended me to do so.... besides it, old oil in the heads and block was so built up that a jet cleaner needed a couple of hours to clean it, so the pump could be also clogged up pretty much...
