I am new to the website. This must have been answered already.
Dealer in Naperville, IL charge $135 for oil and filter change. Is this reasonable.

You ask, so you must feel you got ripped... which you did. $135? I think most dealers in respectable (atleast in areas with competition) do the change for about $75-80.
Wow, did they hold a gun and wear a mask as they robbed you?

Welcome to Club Lexus.
$135 is a lot. If you have some basic mechanical skills, like un-screwing a bolt, you can pretty much do the oil change at home by yourself without paying Lexus a bunch of money. Here's a comparison:
Oil- $30 at walmart
Filter- $3-5 at walmart or go OEM for the oil filter so thats about $4.xx (it's better to use the OEM filter)
Oil Drain Pan( if you don't have one, this is a one time buy item)- $3
These SUV's are high enough you don't need a jack to lift them you can just crawl underneath.
Compare that to Lexus- $135
Big Difference!

If you don't want to do the work yourself, just take your RX330 to your local Toyota dealer; it'll cost about $35 there. If the service writer is unsure about being able to work on a Lexus, let him/her know that your RX has the same engine as the Toyota Highlander of the same year.

It really depends... a basic oil and filter change should be anywhere from 49.99 to 89.99... but a minor service, which include a tire rotation, brake inspection, adjustments, etc. runs anywhere from 129.99 to 189.99. So it really depends on the actual service you received.
