Default HELP! brake lights dont work.

1995 sc300.... brake lights dont work. have no idea how long this has been going on either lol. ive changed bulbs, switch, and fuse in the wheel well. rest of the lights (reverse turn tail and blinkers) work without a hitch. ive even checked batt. cables and cleaned the grounds. if anyone else had any ideas, please lemme know. everthing else seem to work except the fog lights but i dont think its related. if anyone in atlanta wants to come fix it, im willing to pay for your time.

thanks
alan

It might be time to check out your brake switch, below the pedal, to see if it is working properly, plugged in, wiring damage, etc.

Your SC has a tail light failure sensor relay box in the trunk. It's a small yellow box locate in the left rear of the trunk. You have to remove the trunk cover to see it. This box may be short out. Also, check the wire harness that run along the trunk hinges on the left side. After the trunk has been opened and closed for so many thousand times the wire harness get stress out and broke the wires.
Check your tail light failure sensor first.

swapped out the yellow box in the rear.... no help. any other suggestions? wondering if my shifter needing to be pulled up to get the key out could have anything to do with my brake lights. gonna borrow a multimeter from a friend and see if i can find out anything more.
