Default HELP! anyone know what this part is called? 1998 lexus gs 400

hey guys!

was driving my car around today and everytime i went over a bump my car made a clunking sound on the front driver side wheel..

took the car home. and took off the wheel to inspect what it could be and found the culprit. however i cant seem to find what the part is called. i searched online and everything..

it would appear to be something to do with the ride height level sensor... is it broken? there typically isn't much, if any stress at all on this part, it surprises me it would make much noise even if broken completely...

nope, sway bar end link is the other piece that somewhat resembles what you are looking at... to the right of your hand in the picture...

keep in mind, that part is not supposed to be super tight, it should move, but not make noise when you put a twisting force on it... they are lubed ball joints in the ends...
