Is the AMSOIL Signature series 100% synthetic 5W-30 oil better than other synthetics?

The Signature Series is their best oil. Good stuff Hameed. Considering the high miles on many of our cars, look for a motor oil with a high zinc content to help protect the rubber seals within the engine. If Amsoil is out of reach, Valvoline Max Life & Mobil 1 High mileage is a good bet. For the transmission, Amsoil universal ATF blows away

I don't personally use the signature series, as my BMW takes the Euro Car 5W40, but I can vouch that it's worked great in my case. I recently had cause to open up my engine (replacing faulty VANOS seals), and to my great surprise, my valvetrain and valve cover were pristine, with just a thin coating of light amber-colored oil on everything, that looked like it had just come out of the bottle. This is in an 11-year-old engine that's had 6 oil changes in 95k miles, with the most recent change being 17k miles previous.
Needless to say I'm sticking with it.

royal purple is pretty good too
amsoil is good but i would never go 15k without changing oil.
good post lil4x
i stick with my 5~6k oil changes with either valveline synpower 5W30 or Pennzoil platinum synthetic 5w30
due to ease of access and often able to find good deals for me to stock up about 12 quarts at a time
ive used mobil 1 a few times but that oil just isnt what it used to be 3 years ago
it is almost more dino than synthetic now and there are some people reporting foaming with it
if you stick with 5k, you should be ok
but for almost the same price, i went with pennzoil or valveline
also if you are picky too, there is also castrol full synthetic 5W30 that are made in germany that are true group IV synethtic
but those are only available in quart bottle sizes and tend to be expensive
right now amazon has a great deal on valveline 6 quart synpower for $36 + free shipping
i used subscribe and save and got it down to $31 for 6 quarts
set it to ship 2 boxes and canceled the subscription right after.
