I go to Tokyo on business where one of my customer is Toys R Us.

I cruised the kids' scale model department and foudn a very cool tricked out Celsior (the name for Lexus LS 400/430 series in Japan). See below for picture.

I thought this was a toy. Then I found out from Japanese friends that it is a US$180K kit (like AMG) for Lexus from Brusselles, Belgium. I live in San Francisco and then last summer I saw a Hong Kong ex-pat driving this same tricked out Lexus.

So I spent $1,000 and bought a whale tail/spoiler in Tokyo and had it added to my new Lexus LS. Dealer claims it voids my anti-rust warranty but I live in "no salt" area. I got the spoiler by air freight and found out it is from Italy! From Italy to Tokyo to San Francisco.
Anybody know of any doemxtic USA sources for spoilers and body moldings for LS 400/430?

when you post, there is an option for attach file. Just click the Browse button and link it to where the picture is on your harddrive. You need to make sure that the file is not too big....resize if you have to.

aaron..so basically you bought a rear spoiler from japan for your LS, correct? and you need to find someone to install for you?..

on the warranty issue, it all depends on each dealer..any mods will void your warranty..but the if you have good relationship with your dealer, they will go wink wink

He got a spoiler from Japan, and is looking for a domestic source for such products.

For the things I wanted, it would've been quite a bit cheaper just to have my relatives in Japan ship it over for me. So I can't say I know of any good domestic sources here.
