Default LS Leans to the left

My 1995 with 46,000 miles is lower on the drivers side by about an inch. Does anyone else's list toward the driver's side? I weigh about 230 Lb.s. but, I've only had the car for 4 months. Is this a common condition? On another note are the differential's limited slip, if the car came without traction assist?

Good Question... I probably should have stated that in my post.
Nope, no air suspension.

So much for my first hunch. That is very early for the standard shocks to go, from what I have heard. Do you know if the prior owner was "generously proportioned"? Any Lexus techs out there that have seen this?

No telling, if they were "Geneously Proportioned" or not. Kind of a touchy subject, probably, if they were. I know their name, maybe I could ask the service writer that handled them, since the car was a trade-in back to the original dealership.
It sure seems like they would of had to weigh a ton to compress the springs that quickly. When I bought it they only drove it an average of about 7,000 miles per year. Do you suppose they could have been too fat to sit comfortably in the driver's seat. It seems to be OK no tell tale squeaks or flattening that I can detect.

Default Knowledge

To my knowledge no LS was ever shipped without TRac.

1" lower front and back or has the frame/body been twisted from some previous accident?

1995 LS400

Trac was an option. Usually came only on models with air suspension. So there are very few out there.

LSD, not available on that model.

I won't say it's a common problem at all, maybe a weak spring.

Default Give the...

devil his due.

Devildog is correct, I just dug out the window sticker for my 92 LS. But it does appear that heated seats and Trac were the combined options then, air suspension was separate.

And it does appear that LSD has neevr been available from the factory.

Not on my LS-- no trac, no cd player, no heated seats, no full power steering column, no memory seats.

piece of junk car. (serious PO'd smiley face)

well, i heard that the first gen LS leans on the driver side more, as evidence shown by my dad's LS! there was a thread a while back that talked about this.

Default 96 ls400 driver side lean

I've been reading these old posts looking for an answer to why this car leans left front and back. I have air suspension. THe height sensor links are the same length, nothing appears bent, all 4 corners go up/down with height adj switch, left and right suspension look the same at the wheel, car doesn't loose any height over night. I tried disconnecting the battery over night to see if ECU would reset itself, no. Front sits high both sides
Is there a reset for the whole system?
Car has 178k but was very well maintained. Underside is exceptionally clean.
Any insight is appreciated. thanks
