Just purchased 2011 ES350.
1. I am thinking of 7Yr/100K extended warranty - local dealer will cost me > 2K. Please advice for better deal.
2. Florida weather is pretty bright hot during summer and sometime car will be parked outside. How do I protect the color and the interior leather? Exterior satin cashmere metallic with parchment interior.
3. Any special advice for overall maintenance?
4. Any advice on driving habit for better fuel efficiency?
Thanks in advance.

The price you pay for an extended warranty should be put in to a bank account and let it accrue at least a little interest - chances are you will never have to use it on a Lexus...
The best way to protect the car is to get a car cover... Aside from that, a metallic folding window shade should go in the front window whenever it is parked, and have the rest of the windows tinted as dark as legally possible... paint - keep it clean and waxed, and try to park in the shade...
overall maintenance - follow Lexus' recommendations to the T... aside from that, there really isn't much to do on a newish car like that...
fuel economy - there is a lot of info out there, but basically, accelerate as slow as reasonably possible and allow yourself to coast to a stop sooner than later... any time you use the brakes, that means there was probably excess energy expended to get it up to speed... now, obviously you can't worry about this too terribly much, but keep it in mind... aside from that, keeping your speeds lower generally results in better fuel mileage...

Thanks for your response.
Lexus is providing 48K/4Yr warranty. Generally I keep car for longer period, I have similar intension with Lexus ES350 too. That's why I am debating and asking feedback from all the gurus here whether to spend additional $1500 to secure another 52K/3Yrs. Generally I will drive around 15K per year.
