Default New battery advice

I am looking at getting a new battery. If the new battery I get has slightly higher Amps and slightly higher AH than the current one in my car will that be a problem? or what if the new one I get is lower in AMPs and AH than my current OEM one?

It looks like you have an IS250, the factory battery in that car is 582CCA if i remember correctly. You can go higher if you want, it wont cause any problems. The starter and electronics in the car will only draw as much power as it needs, having more available doesnt mean the car will start faster or run any differently, and that also means it wont hurt anything either. Going lower on the rating could have adverse effects though. If you got a battery that was rated at 550CCA, im sure you wouldnt have any problems, but i would stay as close to the factory battery ratings as possible. Lexus engineered the car and put that size battery in for a reason.

That's right! Voltage is pushed; amperage is pulled as needed.

Voltage is the pressure, Current is the flow.

My stock battery was 550 CCA. My optima blue top is either 850 or 1000 I cant remember.

As long as it is a 12v battery and rated for AT LEAST what stock is you are fine.
