Here's a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with...
On my 2000 GS400, the brake light on my instrument panel keeps going on and off. Whenever I decelerate, it comes on and when i accelerate it goes back off... I don't think the problem is directly connected to pressing the brake pedal, as the problem doesn't occur exactly when the pedal is pressed/depressed...
It is as if a plug or wire is loose, and decelerating triggers it to go off.. Anyway, any thoughts? I was hoping to avoid wasting a lunch at the dealership to get it fixed...
Thanks,
-Corey

One of your taillight bulb may be getting ready to expire.
Mine acted this way, and when I replaced the bulbs, the light stopped flickering like your's.
You can pick up the OEM Sylvania replacement bulbs (they type esacpes me at the moment) from nearly any auto parts store.
