Default new, out-of-bag, shopworn

they are a little beat up but don't look like they have been on a car - they would be dirtier, I think - somebody prolly bought them and never got around to installing them, or the carwash kid boosted them out of the parts department, or a body shop sold them with a job and forgot to install them, who knows - if they are a whole lot cheaper than retail and are indeed the right part number, you prolly did ok.

Here is my take.

Guy buys new ones. Takes old ones and says...hey they look decent. Then spray a ton of SimpleGreen on them... tears the tags off the new ones and reapplys the stickers to the old ones.

Then sells them of ebay.

Yeah I agree, I don't think they're new.

You could take them to the dealer and compare them to ones out of the box.

Hey,

It's hard to tell from the picture but how to the THREADS look where the nuts screw on in order to bolt them down? Does it look like nuts were once on it? If not then they are new.

A MM is definitely one part I would not want to buy off ebay. Just buy it new with no worries.

They look unused to me. You can tell by looking at the spacing from the center ring to the top ring. When LS400 mounts wear they start to sag badly. The space from the center ring to the top ring will decrease up to 50% or more. Also the rubber material will start to crack or seperate from the top ring. You'll see when the old mounts are removed.
Go get the trans mount also. All three mounts should be changed as a set. The trans mount will sag badly also. Get that trans mount! I believe it retails for about $70.00.
If possible, post pics of the old mounts when your done.

btw, the labels on the new mounts cannot simply be peeled off and reapplied to other mounts. Lexus parts tags will tear right away.
