I know Castrol Transmax ATF is good enough to be used at lexus service departments as power steering fluid but what are your opinions on Castrol Transmax ATF used in automatic transmissions instead of OEM Toyota T-IV? Any body used Castrol as their ATF? On the back of the Castrol bottle it says it meets req. of Toyota T-IV ATF fluid.

I use it in my transmission, and it still shifts perfectly! I switched to the Castrol Transmax (at the time it was called IMV) at 137,000 miles and I now have 188,000 miles. So, I can safely say that the Castrol hasn't caused any harm. Although I do a drain and fill every 10-15k miles.
