One of my headlights just went out and I need to replace the bulb...its not a stock bulb, but some xenon bulb that the previous owner put in it (the tubular-looking bulb that sits closest to the high beam). How can I do this? Do I have to open up the entire headlight unit with the heatgun/oven method or what?

Huh?
Headlight bulbs are changeable from the back of the headlight.
You may have to remove the assembly for access. If so there are 2 screws in the fender and 1 on the top.
