Default Wiper Repair

The right side wiper is no longer functioning on my 2008 IS-F. When running my wipers last week the right side was moving slower than the left then eventually stopped. The wiper now seems very loose and doesn't operate. Left side still works fine. Are there two separate motors or is it linked and a belt came off that I need to tighten or something?

There is no belt.
There is a nut at the rotating end of the wiper arm. There might be a cap covering it. Remove the cap and tighten that nut.

Great, thank you for help. Apparently Lexus issued a recall just this week regarding the same issue I'm having, so I'm hoping the dealer can take care of it. Otherwise I'll look into the details you describe. Thanks!
