Hi all

I need help with my US 2011 lexus ES nav unit , the problem is I swap the HDD of my unit with US 2009 lexus LS "" The reason was in the LS The maps was latest version then the ES "" but I wasn't know that there is a difference between the vr. the 2009 LS does not support 3D & the 2011 ES has the 3D , any way I did fit back the ES main HDD & it did load but the map are not work & it's give me this massage in the screen

Hard drives are married to the nav unit they are installed in... they cannot be swapped out and used in other vehicles. You may have caused damage to your navigation ecu by installed the wrong hard drive.,..

now about my ES

lets assumption that the ecu it has been damaged by another HDD , so there a way to re-programmed to operate , will there is a way to fix it .

Best way to try would be to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes... and see if the system reboots.

RTIS250 I did disconnect the batt. for a day but nothing , guys please help .
