Lightbulb Salt belt suggestion

Before 4/50,000 warranty is up…

My 99 SC400 was driven in the salt belt (Cleveland,OH) for two years before I rescued it and moved it to Florida.
After the first oil change I noticed a lot of salt damage on the undercarriage my thought was “wish I could soak the whole thing in WD40” turns out I wasn’t too far off.
I scheduled an alignment earlier this week and was told at the end of the day that they couldn’t do it because the eccentrics/cams were frozen. The alignment guy tried to loosen them with a breaker bar and an extension. They asked if the car was stored by the beach or had been in the road salt? Also stated it was very unusual for a car this new to be frozen. So now I’ll have to reschedule time for their mechanic to try to loosen them up. This could end up being very expensive. Well, worst case anyhow if they have to heat them up and might burn the bushings and have to replace the cams. We will see?
So this spring after all the snow and salt are gone have your dealer align your car before this portion of the warranty is up. That way if there is a problem, it’s theirs. Don’t ya know I have 54,000 miles = too bad…
