Ok guys, I can't find the internal air filter that everyone is talking about . I looked behind the glove box, nope.

i looked by the gas pedal under floor mat. Nope. Can someone help me out? Any pictures of what it should look like.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're really searching for the A/C filter instead of the air filter, right?

what yr and model are you messing with? all Lexus a/c filters are behind the glove box or under the glove box.....

Yup, I mean A/C filter on cabin filter.

OH! The filter is below the glove box. That is a new one and correct at that!

For your car( 98 ES), the AC filter is located on the right side of the gas pedal. You will need to pull the carpet by the gas pedal and remove a white plastic door to access the AC filter. A pain......

Well, I have removed the white plastic door and found nothing, no filter. I found a filter on the pass side near floor. SO I assume that is it.
