Default Popping sound from front end

My '93 has a clicking or popping sound occasionally when I turn a corner and brake at the same time. My local Toyota Dealer says it is tie rod ends. Any ideas ?

Mine makes a popping noise when going over bumps at low speeds, big bumps like speed bumps. it's greatly increased by braking and/or turning.

It's been diagnosed as strut bars, but I have a 2nd gen so it might be different. It definitely sounds bushing related though.

Lexusguy - I'm getting the same thing as of about 5,000 miles ago.

I just replaced my front sway bar bushings, but not the end links.

The clunk supposedly gets more noticable as the pads wear. ok?., I guess I will take their word for it.
They rotated the tires, too and now I don't hear anything. maybe them wiggling the brakes helped???

anyway it was reported out as "normal condition"
This was actually for Steviej's '02 ES, but I experience the same thing (popping noise when turning and braking) in my '91 LS and was told it was the brakes as well by a Lexus tech, and that it was nothing to worry about.

Could it be front end boots? Popping when turning was the clue in our previous Honda.
