I only have about 40K on my 2014 RX450h and have decided to keep it for a few years. Since the warranty is about to run out, I was wondering about an extension. Should I bother? Any companies you recommend?

Your dealership offers Lexus Financial Services as vehicle service agreement. You get the same Lexus service on your car as always. Priced just as the other companies.

That's a good question. Lots of little things could go wrong as the years roll by, and some are very expensive. My 2 cents worth are take your time and read the contract. And read it well! What does it cover, does it actually list the parts, what is considered normal wear and tear, how much is the deductible, what is mis-use, who decides on what parts to use, new, rebuilt etc. What places are authorized to perform the repairs.....
If I was to get one it would be thru Lexus, even though it would cost more.
You will get lots of opinions here. Personally I have never purchased one, but might consider it with a hybrid. That's only because I do not understand the hybrid system.

its totally up to you, usually the 2010-2015 rx series, the only problems are the rear shocks leaking, if you curbed it at some point, usually the wheel bearings go. and ofcourse the usual front timing leak (i seen mostly so far not leaking)
thats about it usually.
