About to embark on this project and want some feedback and how to-s.
Did you use a brake bleeding tool? What order did you bleed? Any pitfalls?
TIA.

If you just want to do the caliper, you can use a pair of vice grip to clamp the rubber brake hose. This way it will stop the brake fluid from dipping.
You can use a vacuum hose( car vacuum hose) and connect of end to the bleeder and another end into a can of brake fuild. Then open the bleeder, slowly pump the brake pedal about 6-12 times. The air will bleed into the brake fluid and then suck in the new fluid.
You can do it in order from right rear>left front>left rear and right front.

I thought the order was from furthest to closests to the brake cylinder. That was what it was for the Supras when I searched for it.
My high school auto shop text book may be out of date.

VVT-i,
might be correct also, some brake sys. was design so the brake work diagonally. If one brake line fail the other still stop the car. I don't have my manual here to confirm on starting from the furthest to the nearest.
I also recommend to buy a torque wrench and find out what torque number to retorque the bracket bolts. For SC400 I think its either 100 ft-lbs or 120 ft-lb. After that you can use the wrench to tighten the wheel nut at 78 ft-lbs.
