Do you tip dealership baristas?
Hard to know where to post this question:
When you bring your cars into the dealership for service, do you think about tipping the coffee baristas for their service? That is to say, are they private contractors or bonafide Lexus employees?
Today, I watched them work and I did not see a tip jar or any tips being given out.

I'm not sure if they are Lexus employees or not but my first instinct would be to say that they are. My feeling around tips is if my receipt has a entry line for a tip, I'll leave one. If the item was free and there is a tip jar, I feel obligated. But without a tip jar or entry line on my receipt, I might think that they aren't allowed to accept tips.

at least around here the are Lexus employees and many times random dealership employees, definitely not trained baristas and frankly the drinks do not deserve a tip, taste pretty rancid every time
