Default Ls finally had it's stall

My LS took it's first fall today!

So far I know of two things that could be why my car stalled out. 1 is the TPS, 2 is the A/C idle up valve.

I put the car in neutral at a light and revved (to 1000rpm )to get the A/C pumping higher. When I let off the gas the RPM's just shot down and the engine ran no more.

Reason I revved to get the RPM's going is that the A/C idle up valve controls the 100RPM increase when you switch the A/C on. Mine is broken so my idle stays at 600, but very roughly I *think because the A/C system draws a bit more power out of the car.

too bad the a/C idle valve is $600 from the dealer!

What's an A/C idle valve?

Your LS should only have one idle valve and that is the idle speed control valve(ISCV). This valve controls the idle speed under all conditions when the TPS signals the throttle buttterfly is at or near closed position.
Does your engine runs when you pressed on the gas pedal lightly and dies when you release the pedal completely?
