Default Certified Lexus Mechanics

Is there a way to verify online whether or not a person is a certified Lexus mechanic? I reached out to a guy on Facebook who said that he was a Lexus mechanic at a dealership in my area. I need some work done and asked him if he wanted to make some cash on the side and do some work on my car. Just wanted to verify his credentials without actually calling up his work and saying "Hey, does this guy work for you guys and is certified? I wanted to get him to work on my car. He's probably going to be using your bays afterhours... etc. etc."

Most dealerships list their service staff on their website, start there. Although looking at your local Houston dealers they only do service advisors not mechanics like my local dealer does

Thanks Dave. I just checked, but none of the mechanics/technicians are listed. I did find a girl that I went to HS with though LOL.

Depending what type of work you need make sure is warrantied. Last thing you wanna do is have a mobile mechanic do work and that's the last time you see him.

Years ago a former co-workers father worked as a senior tech at the Dodge dealer and did side jobs and they let him into the place on the weekends. Several folks at the office had him work on their cars.
