OK, my check engine light goes on and the dealer says I need an 'idle sensor'. (Search has provided only vaguely related topics).
Then they tell me it is part of the throttle body and it is $825 just for parts!
What is this sensor? Anybody know? Help!

The weather got a little colder and the light went off (coincidence :rolloeyes
, and the dealer never wrote down the code. I have been waiting to see if it comes on again; however, it may never.
If it does I will get the code. If things go as usual with my dealer (they suck in general) the next time they will tell me I need something completely unrelated, once again with no justification.
